I'll start by saying I'm a nut for old stuff. As noted in my FJ60 post, I picked up an old Craftsman drill press from a fellas garage. I noticed it when I went to purchase a POS Delta belt/disc sander (I thought it was good). It took me a while to convince him he needed to sell it to me, but I prevailed. Enough yap, here are some pics.

I don't know all the details on this thing, but it works like a champ! I need to do a little wiring on it to bring it back to full functionality, but it did its job today without complaint.

My dad was a carpenter by trade for most of his 72 years. I got most of his tools after he passed. 3 years later, I'm finally taking inventory of what he left me. I'll post pics sometime soon of the interesting stuff.

Nice press, Jon <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Thanks, folks. I really like it. I need to get a couple of new belts for it. The elusive thing thus far is a chuck key. I had to use an exhaust manifold stud and flat tip screw driver to get the chuck tight since I haven't found a key. If anyone has a tip on where to get one, please let me know.

Larry, I look forward to seeing those tools. Post 'em up!
