I was kicking round an idea with Kerby and the guys at HRCS to get some embroidered mitsu logo hats/beanies done up.

I've got enough people to satisfy the minimum order quantity, so I'll leave this up for a week or so in case anyone else wants one. They'll be black with the 3 diamonds on the front.

Beanies are fleece Port Authority, hats are Adams Optimus II with leather adjustment strap. I had a hat with a different logo till it met the bottom of the river this past July, was awesome.

Price would be ~$12(varies depending on sales at order time) and the cheapest postage I could get it to you for, which is either flat rate envelope or small bubble mailer, I'd have to check.

Would be at-cost, any incidental profit caused by fractional cents to be donated to HRCS's maintenance fund.

Would also be willing to trade hats for parts of like value, gold bullion, a montero rear disc setup, an air locker, etc. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

If you still desire to get a hat, beanie, or sportsman hat, you can order from the reserve items. This is on a first-come, first serve basis. If your desired item is not in stock at my shipping department(house), then you will have the option of receiving a full refund or waiting for another order to go out.

Hat's all came in today! Less words, more pics, I know...

I'll be shipping em out after Christmas.

There's extra's on-hand for people who decided to wait, 3 hats, 1 sportsman, and 3 beanies is the current count.

Would you get a hat, a beanie, or both?

1st what's an Adams Optimus II hat look like? A quick Google search brought up nothing except a bunch of Transformers stuff.

2nd what's the HRCS?

Whoops, that shoulda been "Adams Optimum II"

It's a standard cotton ball cap, lightly rounded brim, synthetic mesh liner. VERY good quality, and comfy as heck.

That's my hat I lost on the river while coming back from viewing the fireworks on the 4th. The camera angle is all sorts of wonk, the brim is not super-flat like it look.s

OK, thanks. This time the search came up with the right one immediately (as you'd expect). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I'm down for one of each. Also curious if the shop doing the embroidery would do other designs? Thinking a Mitsu 4x4 Club hat would be nice. Not necessarily the club sticker logo (too complex w/ too many colors) but a simpler, cleaner designed logo.

Most any logo can be done, just need a png/jpg/gif of it, preferably a png with transparency.

I'm down for a beanie! Would be cool if it said PAJERO under the diamonds too!

The place I go through has a 4 piece minimum on each logo, so it'll be just the 3 diamonds on this run.

[color:"red"]*****PREORDERS HAVE STARTED!*****[/color]

Since the forum doesn't have a way to embed html, I had to throw a page together...

http://zarnochwf1.com/mitshats.html

I'll send the order out monday the 6th at noon EST, and get a few extra of each in case someone else wants one later.

If you pre-pay before noon on monday, you will get added in the order, if you pay after noon, then it comes from the extra's on a first come, first serve basis. The button will be pulled down once all the extra's are spoken for.

The lead time is ~ 2 weeks unless I have it rushed, so these likely will be in your maiilbox sometime in late December or early Jan.

Hope everyone enjoys!

I wear straw hats and floppy mil-type hats most often. My opinion is that I look like a dork in a baseball cap (well, I'm a dork anyway, regardless of the hat). So, how about some brim straps, or an additional type of hat?

I can get these type in the shown navy blue color, they're out of black right now...

Would be same price, just put "floppy sportsman hat" in the notes field if you order one.
