I went back and read all your stuff again, and I have two notes. One, the relay has no continuity. Two, the fusible link was blown. Did the relay internally short and burn up the relay, or did another short shunt enough 12v into the relay coil to fry it, and on the way, finally pop the fusible link, which will last a while under a mild current excess - designed that way, which is why you use both fuses and fusible links to protect systems of varying vulnerability to overcurrent.

I checked the fusible links...they are all good, the relay was replaced, but i am sure it was a short (somewhere, probably the radio) that shorted out the switch to the blinker/lights. I am going to get that (again...) tomorrow and put it on and HOPEFULLY it all goes well, otherwise I have no idea...

as you might see below, previous owner had a clifford crap alarm system in it...I replaced the alternator and had a little fire with switches...you can see the burn issues. Replaced the switch, made sure all was grounded, RIPPED out the alarm system and afterward discovered that the radio was connected to the light/switch handle. All worked fine and then all went out...sucks, but I am putting my bet on the turnswitch and disconnecting the damn radio too.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
SORRY, didn't get back to all..it was the damn FUSE...my mistake. I looked at it with flashlight, but never too it out (under hood by battery), thanks for all the suggestions. I was at the junk yard and noticed on a car the words LIGHTS, mine is worn off...I took the fuse just out of intuition, got back to house, took fuse out of her and took in house put under light...within the depths of Modor...there was a small hairline break, took one i got from Junkyard...PRESTO...LIGHTS and everything else! Shakespeare would have been proud.

I ended up buying another switch combo, but on a good note, I found back seat belts and a sweet tow bar for my baby. it all worked out.

Thanks my Brothahs for your suggestions. I learned more than I would have know!
