1988 4 door 3.0 auto with (from the look of things) a complete powered sunroof over the second row seats. I've never seen one before, and it looks kinda cool.

Near Seattle.

Our first 4-door has the sunroof. Wish the damn car would work, though!

Must be an 89 with an 88 build date. There were no 4drs or v6's in 88.

My 89LS is also equipped with a powered sunroof.

I also happen to have a spare sunroof assembly from another parted 89 LS if anyone is interested in trying to get it to work on their non-equipped truck.

I thnk sunroofs may have been a fairly common option in 89-91 LS equipped trucks.

How would you go about installing a power roof in a non power roof? I thought the moonroofs were slightly taller?

I've had six (aqua, 2 black, blue, burgundy, gold metallic) 4-doors now, and only 1 with a sunroof.

The roof type is different than the non-sunroof, no strengthening ridges and all smooth. The roof is a few .25 inches different in height, too. Of the 4-doors to visit my place, most a non. I've seen 3 in wrecking yards over the last few years.

One of the SWB parts cars I had was a roll-over victim, and was poorly repaired using the 4-door sunroof roof without the glass. OMG, what a junky job.

Their is a moonroof equipped 4dr in a junkyard nearby, I was thinking of sawing the roof off entirely and taking it to a friend who has his own bodyshop to weld the entire roof on. Would I be crazy to attempt it? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, but so. I desire to hack the roof off my Chevy 1-ton and replace it with 73 - 75 Blazer convertible stuff.
