The life part keeps getting in the way of the if part....

But I'm OK with that. It's the struggle that defines us. At least that's what I'm telling myself. A good friend just inherited several million dollars. What would it be like to not feel the pressure to get that next pay check?

Right now I'm happy with the struggle. I know my friend is struggling in her own way. Dealing with a death and avoiding the press. My struggle is keeping my job and my sanity.

I don't know, but I'd love to find out.

I agree with your comments on "the struggle," though. It is what ultimately defines us. My bride has always said, "money can't buy happiness, but it can buy you options." Well said.

And, it should be mentioned that the struggle is not just with matters of money, in my view. It's all inclusive.

I figure I'll keep my dream sequence in the realm of our trucks: Complete suspension overhauls for both the Monteros and a few added little tidbits here and there.

87 Montero, bought new, by me -
88/89 intercooled Starion Turbo engine-
with awesome audio.

I would convert my montero to electric motor with lithium ion batteries in the engine bay and where the gast tank is located and make the top into a giant solar panel and maybe the hood.

Add vinyl seats with warmers.

New flooring

ARB Air locker for the front

m101 trailer set up with matching tires and wheels to the montero

maybe a coilover ifs set up, just to be different

Actually researched this a bit, I found that it would only have a range of about 40 miles If i was lucky. I think it would be pretty boss for a trailered trail crawler though, just think of the awesome torque

almost instant torque. There are some better sources with mileage and I am thinking the montero could fit more batteries and with the large solar panels, I was calculating and hopeing to get over 60 miles. Might have to make the m101 trailer into a giant battery or generator Around here it would be cool to go to URE plug into the campsites outlet, go wheelin come back and charge up. If I could get 100 miles per charge, I would be super happy with that.

In that case you should import a Reliant Robin from the UK.
