Anyone installed some Hella Optilux 4" HID auxiliary lights or perhaps some Warn W400D 4" HID lights?
Looking at reviews for the Optilux they don't sound so great, but they are $230/pair, whereas the Warns are $385/pair.
Anyone know of some reviews? google does not reveal much in the way of reviews.

I don't know which product you got from them but the 4500 Euro - 5" Round 35 Watt HID Light is $350 a piece!

Find some hella 500ff or 700ff then go to ddmtuning.com and order the h3 kits.
You modify the housing and have some really nice hid lights for cheap!

Thanks for the links. I do have a mean green alternator that puts out 300% more amps than the stock alternator so I am not too worried about the current draw from the lights.

Well the financial shat has hit the fan since I started this thread so ended up with some basic 6" KC daylighters for $125 from 4wheel parts with free shipping for now. Getting the front bumper tube work done today and the lights go on tomorrow evening. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Might want to think about using a 2-way switch. I ran mine so that I could light them at will or have them toggled with the high beams and been very happy with the decision.
