Getting the Wheeling Fever
okay so I replaced the idler & with the truck lifted its now only 3/8 toed out. The old one was in horrible shape & the tie rods were hitting the frame.

I am sure I could use a complete alignment, but I like to baja this truck & I just don't want the tires too wear horrible. I mean it was like less than a month & the old tires were gone... Do you think I am close enough, unless I want a highway ride?

Might try getting the toe a little closer to "in" rather than "out":

Getting your alignment figured out/fixed will likely save you money over trashing another pair of tires. It might even save you a bunch more if there is something really wrong and ready to fail. Take it in, get it fixed!

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Got toe-in 1/16 of an inch! I drove it last night & it seems to be doing very well. I drove it on the highway for several miles & noticed no wandering or tire wear. I will keep a close watch on it & let you guys know if I find any other problems.

Thanks for the help! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
