Getting the Wheeling Fever
Guys,
I replaced my speedo cable last week and the difference is remarkable. It was kind of a pain in the rear, but in all took about 1 1/2 hours. I didn't realize how much noise the old cable was making. Now she's as quiet as new and the cruise control is more stable than she's ever been.
Just thought I'd share.

No, sorry, I didn't take any pictures. It's pretty straight forward except for the dash part. You have to remove the panel under the steering wheel, the covers on the steering column and then the instrument cluster. I didn't take the instrument cluster all the way out, just far enough to get in and unclip the original cable. The new one just pushes on. Just take your time and don't force anything. I did break one clip on my clock before I got the wiring harness disconnected.
It actually went back together pretty fast.
Again, it was a pain in the rear, but the result made it all worth while.
