Need a Spot
Ive been searching for a few days now and have been doing a lot of reading but I havent found anything that could tell me what you had to do to fit 35" tires on my T100. Obviously I need to lift the truck so for right now I have a 4" suspension lift (have not installed yet), would I aslo have to put install a 2 or 3" body lift? Ive seen a few T100's on cardomain that had a 4" suspension lift with 315/75/r16 tires and a couple with 4" suspension lifts and 3" body lifts with 35 or 36" tires. It looks like some have fit 35" tires with only the 4" suspension lift. I guess my question is what is the best way to fit 35" tires without having too much rubbing and without causing any problems when offroading (light offroading nothing too crazy)

Also besides regearing is there anything else I would need to do? And would 35 x 12.5 or 35 x 14.5 be better?

Thank you and sorry for another post about lifting and tires

I have a 1998 toyota t100 SR5 extended cab 4x4

Whoever provides your suspension should be able to give you an approximate tire fitment size.

WRT the 12.50 vs 14.50; as you indicate "light duty" wheeling, the 12.50 would be easier on steering.

Also, look into using 10 inch width rims as you will get less tire bulge which would help with fitment issues.

It will depend on tire width, wheel width, wheel offset/backspacing, and how much trimming you are willing to do.

I fit 35x12.5's with 15x8" 3.75" BS wheels, 4" suspension lift, and some minor firewall hammering and plastic fender liner trimming. There was still some minor rubbing when the wheels were steered and the suspension was compressed, but no big deal.

Wider wheels and tires will be harder to fit and you'll need either more lift or more trimming, etc.

Im planning on putting on the same size tires and wheels as you did. I really like the way your truck looks Erik. For now I would just be using the blocks that come with the kit to lift the rear, do you think that will make much difference (as far as fitting the 35" tires on the rear)? Oh and I have the trailmaster 4" suspension lift. I was gonna go with the superlift but I got the trailmaster lift for a lot less than I could find the superlift for.
