Hi all,

Our shower door is a standard alloy frame with glass in the middle. Does anyone know where I can get the seal that sandwiches the glass in the door? Tried Lowes, but no good. I have no idea who the manufacturer is so can't call them. Ebay only seems to have glass door bottom sweepers. I'm not even sure what the seal is called.

Any ideas?

This is all I could find - apparently there are a million different options, maybe one of these is what you are looking for though? I think mine is the "V" seal near the bottom of the page.

I had to replace the glass in a shower door and found a local company that handled tempered glass for custom showers and other glass work.

They had a selection of gasket seal that fit the situation.

Try Home Depot or any place like Ace Hardware or local hardware store. Take in a sample of the seal if you can. I think I found some special seal for the shower door that I needed at the Home Depot and it was in the hardware section.....if I remember correctly. I believe it was in the section where the replacement parts for doors and sliding doors, cabinets, etc are located. Mine may have been like yours, and I searched at Lowe's with no luck either. Then one day wandering thru Home Depot, I looked around and I saw exactly what I needed to replace the seal. Bought 2 while I was at it and put one away for later, so I wouldn't have that issue for a few more years! Hasn't leaked since and it made the wife happy!

Call a custom shower/bath store and ask where they get theirs and/or if they would re-sell the seal to you.
