Helloooo, It's been soo long since I've been here, my profile evidently has been wiped. Oh well.
A couple of quick ones. I'm probably going to retire my 86 Montero soon and would like to move the wheels and tires to a newer 2001+.
So Question 1:
How much cutting or what would need to be done to install 32x11.50/15's on a 2001+, and
Question 2:
I was looking at a 2003 Anniversary Edition and I was wondering, is this model based off the XLS (part time 4wd) or the Limited (Active Trac). Is it just a tarted up Limited?
Appreciate any info...

The later Montero Gen III should take 33's with no problem. Montero Sports should take a 31 easily, don't know about larger as I haven't looked at them closely.
Welcome back to the Wire!

The one thing you need to look out for is trying to install the 15" rims on the gen 3. You might not be able to clear the brake rotors. Some say it will rub. But there is one guy on here who did it. It may depend on the rim thickness..
