It got me to ask myself what the transmission designation (AW44L, etc.) is for my 96SR and frankly, I couldn't find the answer even with my 'Superman' search powers. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
So I wonder how many might ask the same question and not be able to easily find that answer hence I decided to create this thread.
Please note when comparing to Pajero's sold overseas, the model year is 1 year earlier so a 1989 Pajero is the equivalent of a 1990 Montero (also Dodge Raider) and vice versa (1994 Montero = 1993 Pajero).
