I had to replace my Droid the other day. I have been unable to login to this site since. It says my username/password combo is not valid. I'm POSITIVE I'm entering it properly, and I never had a problem from the phone before. Anyone know what gives?

I just had the same experience on my home PC. Sounds like a login issue on the wire.

It is more of a login issue with your cookies.

Under the "MY HOME" tab is a "Main Configuration" panel. The bottom line is titled: Maintenance and has a selection "My Cookies"

Select that and then select the option to "expire cookies". You will be logged out and it should clear all of the session cookies.

It is the session cookies that can become corrupt and cause weird problems with login and display.

I have had a periodic problem with my Droid phone but no problems with my iPad.

Any problems, drop me an email as I periodically have to expire cookies for someone's login.

Thanks! I expired my cookies here, and that didn't do it. But your advice made me think to do the same on the Droid, and that did it. I cleared everything I could from the phone, and I was able to login immediately. Thanks again!

I regularly log into 4x4wire.com using my Droid-X without any problems.. So would agree, must be a cookie related issue, or incorrect saved password.....

Getting inadvertent wrong passwords out of the browser can be a problem sometimes....

Any thoughts about adding a Tapatalk plug-in for the forum? Makes surfing forums from a phone really nice & simple. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

After reading the info, TapaTalk is not compatible with the ubbThreads forum software.

There is an effort to make it available in coming upgrades to the forum. However, it appears there will be a development cost with a server side requirement that is not clearly defined.

So, currently, it cannot be implemented. I will keep watching the development progress.
