Body Damage is Cool
I have a buddy looking to get a locker or limited slip for his front axle in his 87. Is there a 3rd member swap for the rear off a trd? Also what options are available for the front?

Is he ever going to do a solid axle swap? If so, do not waste the money on the front end. If not, there are all kinds of options out there for the front. Years ago when I was IFS I ran a Tru-Trak in the front, IMO it is the best LSD out there, all gear drive, no clutches. As far a real locker the only thing I would stick in the front is a selectable locker like an ARB, they are pricey but the IFS front end components are weak, especially the half-shafts.

With some modification to the rear housing, you can stick an E-Locker in, if you are handy with tools, not that hard. With a little searching, you can find out how to do it.
