Need a Spot
When I bought my Montero, the 3rd row came included but not installed.

I thought I had all the necessary plastic bits but not the screws/bolts. But then this image just confused me more...

[Linked Image]

What screw/bolt do I need? part 76689E or 76698B? Is there a suitable alternative that I could grab from Home Depot?

Thanks!

IIWU, I'd go to a local pick and pull yard and just grab what you need. Alternatively, you can always check with a local Mitsu dealership (if there are any around up there).

As for a HD alternative... not if you want it to be safe. I don't believe they have large enough metric bolts. Even if they did you want to be sure they're rated to the correct metric grade. I'm not sure what the grade is on those mitsu bolts but someone else on here could probably tell you.

Although the diagram is not all that clear about where there bolts go, I think you're looking for 76698B. The 76689E is a smaller screw that holds the plastic trim piece and the rubber bump stop in place.
