Need a Spot
95 3.5 dohc. Knocks, did the whole VLA rodeo, still knocks. when you route a tube around to find noise it is the loudest right on the water fitting thing with the air bleeder for the coolant system (it's been a long year, memory a little fuzzy) and second the rear of the pan. Anyway...I am sick of chasing little bits and pieces around in this engine. Is there anyone that I can send it to that can do a good rock-solid rebuild with some upgrades? A little more power would be ok but really I just want it to run well, and keep running well. I do not have the time to deal with it. I can pull it, send it, stuff it in, put all the junk back around it. Who? Where? What can I do? I found this Kar King place on the net...$2000 with a 6 mo. warranty? sounds like a hack job to me. Found Barnette's: $2700, good warranty, Looks OK. I am in Philipsburg Montana, I worry that a normal ol' engine place will not do so well with this...or will they? I once remember seeing an add from some place that was buying blocks and building up a real nice sturdy 3.5 dohc...Anyone know who that was? or who I need? I have crap to drive but I want my baby back with my lockers!!!

95 SR + 94 SR Might =1 SR.

I had a VERY bad experience w/ Kar King ....

I can not in good conscience recommend their services.I ended up getting a good mechanic & rebuilding the engine I had. Hopefully some of the guys here have a good lead for you.
