Shocks are totaly blown on my 87 montero and wanted something a little more heavy duty but not too expensive but looking at the Ranchos and the bilsteins...they only make em for the rear apparently? What then would you run on the front?
Just wondering what everyone else is running.

Just wondering what everyone else is running. KYB are the ones preferred by most on here. I have a set myself. Ranchos aren't so much. Bilstein's are good but $$$.

I have Ranchos, have to agree with the "not so much." <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> Wish I would of went with the KYB's.

KYBs have been great on mine and on my k5 the bilstein 5150s were fantastic.

KYB's are probably the best bang for the buck.
But, I do love my Bilsteins...

But, I do love my Bilsteins... I've heard they're ~$100 more than the KYB's for a set. Is that about right?

It's been several years since I bought mine. At the time, IIRC, they were about $20 per more than the KYB's. And I likes me a yella shock...
