Getting the Wheeling Fever
Probably quite a reach here but it is worth a shot!

Does anybody on these forums per chance know how to get in touch with Phil who is the creator of the OzKia website?

I have tried quite a few times emailing the address listed on there but 6 months later no response. It is highly likely that he has moved on and forgotten about the site, but I find it unusual that the page still be up if he's forgotten about it.

Anyway, if anyone can help, I would appreciate it!

Hi shorty Sporty,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I found this website when I first got my Kia around 6 years ago. It has not been updated at all in that time.

I did get a lead 4 years ago and I believe he had moved on and sold the Kia.

Damkia knew Phil and did a couple of trips with him. Maybe he can shed some light.

I do like website and glad it is still operational as it has a lot of good information on it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Cheers, Chris <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

thanks for that chris. what I am trying to find out is the rear shocks that he used, or at least what truck they are from.

they look very similar to a set I have lying around at work.
I guess I'll just wait and see if they will work when I get motivated to install the lift!

No worries,

Best of luck with it.

You already may know about using RAV4 shocks in the rear?

Post up a piccie of your Sporty. I have researched alot of stuff in Australia. Let us know if you would like any info.

Cheers, Chris

I do know about the Rav4 shocks being the ones to use, but whenever you can get something cheap, you go for it!

I guess that the Rav4 shocks are always a back up if these don't work.

No pics of my Sporty yet, I intend on doing it soon though!

Cheers mate! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
