My 88 2.6 SWB is headed to the scrap yard today because I can't find a decent motor or person to work on it. seriously??? That's a major waste... I've been looking to buy another Gen 1 for some time..

seriously??? That's a major waste... I've been looking to buy another Gen 1 for some time.. Wish I'd have had this much interest when I listed it for sale some months back. IIRC, no one even wanted to come look at it then. I'd considered a diesel swap, but I would have to pay someone to do the whole thing. Being a Firefighter, store-owner, and a father of four leaves me about ZERO "me" time.

Thanks for all the responses guys, Russell I think I am just going to pick up Clarences long block, he said it was running when pulled. Thanks again guys, Ill keep you updated and hopefully it'll be back on the road soon!
