My ac was converted to 134a a few months ago. I found and fixed the leak, now I have to refill it. The instructions say to look for 'low side' port btwn evap n comprsr. Does anyone know where that is? I can see 2 valves near the firewall/charcoal canister, but they seem too far

Not sure exactly where on the V6, just follow the A/C line between the firewall and the compressor. That is low side and the port should be along there somewhere. The line from the compressor to the condensor in front of the radiator is the HIGH side. Stay away from that one.

Before refilling it probably needs to be placed under a high vacuum to remove air and moisture that got into the system while you were making repairs. Air, refrigerant and moisture do not mix. -- Matt
