Hey all,

I'm still alive. Trucking sucks so far, but I'm finally in a position where I can change jobs (upgrade) and hopefully regain some small part of my life again. Been a long, tough year.

What's new around here? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Welcome back...

Not much new. A few others have checked in reporting improved circumstances.

What is on-tap for your job upgrade??

I'll still be driving, but not for a typical OTR company like I was. The new place is a food distributor that has it's own trucks.

Rather than home once or twice a month, I'll be home twice a week, minimum. The pay is supposed to be on par or even better than estimating was for me.

This is the second stage for me with this truck driving thing. Stage 3 is the nice gravy job that pays unbelievably well and has me home every night <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Curtis, contests on your General ticket. I got mine a while back and intended to go for Extra, but haven't been on any real radios since. I don't count the chicken box to be a real radio <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
