So everything i have read says this will work. But when i held up the empty tranny case yesterday it did not even clear the fly wheel. Any ideas ? Dunno how there could be bolt holes to match the gm 60* pattern in there............

Need ideas. My tranny is toast.

Unfortunatly I have read this about a mazillion times.... It is very odd. His transmission looks just like mine. BUt the case from the 60* gm pattern will not fit over my fly wheel.... THe size difference between my tranny and the case is huge. I am so confused. I dunno even what tranny i have. Can't seem to identify it.

PS- i'm suprised anyone even reads this anymore. I posted on the planet also.

*** EDIT *** Turns out it does fit. Just couldn't see the holes beacuse of the clutch. It was not allowing the housing to slide into place.

Cool.

I still drop by every day or two. Not much happening though. I guess as Isuzu numbers slowly dwindle, the ability to support multiple active forums will dwindle too.
