Need a Spot
I have a set of 31X12.50x15 Super Swamper Boggers that the tread is running down on them. There is maybe a 1/4" of tread left on average in the center of the tires. Now I know the outer edges will still pull even when the center is bald, however what I was wondering is, can you take these tires and get them re cut? Reason I'm asking is, they are on my 92' Toyota p/u, and I only use this truck to go back and forth to my hunting lease and to the store to get gas. The farthest I travel is 10 miles to the store, and it's 7 miles to my gate on my lease. Is this worth looking in to, or should I just get some new spuds?

I would say they are not able to be re-groved as there is not enough rubber above the inner belts to work with.

If you are just doing short trips, run them down more and then buy new.

or, for the thrifty mode...

You should have a used tire store that will have a variety of good tread tires.
