Getting the Wheeling Fever
I just bought this new/redesigned plenum, but the actuator housing is crooked. I don't see signs of physical damage, but the mental looks bent. I just want to confirm with someone who has seen one if this is bad.

I'd guess it's bad but I'd also wait for others to chime in. BTW, what did it cost and where did you buy it?

Looks like it was damaged in either packing or shipping. If you're not real excited about returning for a replacement, I'd try pulling a vacuum on the actuator and see if it holds, or if the diaphram is damaged. If it holds, you could probably just bend the housing back judiciously

I bought it for $400 out the door / shipped. I'll provide more info once it is all settled. It looks like the vendor will have me ship this back to them and send me another one. But I think it is special order. So it might take a couple of weeks:-(

BTW: the rod is not centered going into the vacuum actuator opening and the flaps don't want to move. I'd guess it is way out of alignment.

The vacuum actuator is damaged & probably will not operate properly. Perhaps you can return just that part & not have to return the whole thing.
