Don't know how many of you get over to the garage sale area, but, I have decided to sell the turbo monty. It's been up for a while now, and not getting much activity. I know it's a bit expensive, but it's also not your average monty. Tell me the truth- am I asking too much?? I have listed on CL as well, and have had a few nibbles. I really don't want it to just go to some dumbarse who will cause it's ultimate demise by not understanding what he has.

I have decided that trades are good to, so since my kids are getting into motocross...

You have a few things going against you. First it's already built, most Mitus guys want a project truck. Second, you have a limited market, a custom drive train means only gear heads need apply. Third, money is tight.

Here are my tips

1. More photos, post detail photos off all the work.
2. Sit tight, Christmas is coming.
3. Try the fast and furious crowd, car or trucks, all the same love.

Ya, I've got an ad on CL to trade for a Suburban

I just want it to go to somebody that will appreciate it. I just got back from meeting with a gal willing to trade for a Sub. She seemed totally disinterested in the Monty, although more than happy to trade
Sometimes I it makes me just want to part it out...

How about a family friendly Class C RV? Runs well, sleeps all your brood, self-contained with generator.

I once had a Suburban - got rid of it as soon as I could. Be careful what you wish for.

I'd love to take it off your hands. Distance and dollars... And, it's not that I think you're asking too much. I don't. I just don't have them right now, either.

I was telling my younger son about your truck last week one day. You could see his eyes growing wider and the gears beginning to turn.

He helped me build my turbo truck (I've passed it along to him now) and knows what you put into it. Plus, he's kind of a wrench jock, too.

87 Montero, bought new, by me -
88/89 intercooled Starion Turbo engine-
with awesome audio.
