I did a quick search and couldn't find a thread on this.

There's a parting rig near me and I'm curious to see if the rear dana posi axle will fit my '89 pup spacecab. The rig is a '92 v6 rodeo.

Roll Me Over
If the axles are the same, i.e., Isuzu 12-bolt, then the pieces should be interchangeable. However, I believe that the '92 Rodeo came with a GM corporate 10-bolt, rather than the Isuzu 12-bolt. One usually reliable was to tell is to see the rodeo had rear drums. If it has drums, it is the GM axle.

HOWEVER, I will be really surprised if the posi is any good. Mine on my Trooper lasted to about 150K miles, but then it was gone. The cost of rebuilding is at least as much as putting an Aussy locker in your existing axle.

I think that the Dana 44 rear axles started with the '93 year. If the Rodeo has the Isuzu 3.2 engine, then it has the Dana 44. If not, then it had the GM 10-bolt from the factory.
