...check this out. It's not for all of us, but for those who tow with a leaf sprung Gen I, it could be another solution. I fret it's pricey, though.

I always loved the "flop" from the always worn out leaf spring/shackle bushings aa you transitioned from curve thataway to curve thisaway. It made breaking the rear end loose so much easier when I had the carby motor. That ceased to be a needed feature with the turbo.
