Getting the Wheeling Fever
Has anyone replaced the fuel lines that are before and after the fuel filter. Mine are really rusted and would like to replace before it starts leaking. I have a 95 SR5 4X4 T-100. Where would a good source be to get the factory lines from.

Thanks

It's probably going to be easier for you to find a good hydraulic or truck trailer shop and get the lines fabbed up.

It's what we do on this end of the planet anyway. Got a good industrial hardware shop that does those and rigging.

I bought mine from toyota, they weren't too expensive. ($200 canadian, they're probably $120 down in the states)

Why not just use standard flexible fuel hose? Its much cheaper than fabricating custom metal lines. Just make sure you get hose rated for fuel use and you should be fine. No more rusting issues, except maybe the clamps.

Just be careful asas it does dry rot over time and is not as tough as metal hose (if you ever go offroading / get sticks and stuff up there) I don't mind using it for small patch sections but would be worried doing the entire truck with it...

High pressure EFI fuel hose and the clamps necessary are also not cheap. You could use standard fuel hose for the return line though.

Still, the factory lines are probably the simplest and best option.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Well got to the fuel lines and got them from Toyota. While I had the tank out the Sender unit looked really rusted so replaced that as well. when I went to put the tank back in I noticed it was wet between the tank and the plastic tub that installs under the tank, so removed that and the tank has two smal rust spots where water was inbetween the plastic tub and tank. Well that led to a new tank and guess what only from the dealer $700.00 big ones. Guess I will be driving this one for another ten years. Sorry for the rant
