So, been a while since I have posted, and the T is chugging away, just rounded 190K, and have about 75% left on my latest set of BFGs, I did have to put new shocks on this summer (turn out 120K miles is beyond their life expectancy) and thats about it, I do think my rotors are warped again, and think that this time instead of OEM I am going to be going for something drilled, or drilled and slotted.

I did start to notice a slight burning oil smell, and it looked like the top of the cylinders have a little oil on them, and it is dripping onto the manifold, My oil levels are staying flat, and it is very slight, but stinky. (the joys of a 2 stroke truck) so, went to the mechanic, and he can change the gaskets during the spring tune up. I did a search on the board and realized that I can check the bolts for free. I pulled out my torque wrench, dialed up 6Nm and found that I had LOTS of tightening to do. Some of the bolts where almost hand loose... so, Tommorrow I will be doing some driving and, hope that the smell will dissapate, and, that I have been saved from a valve job!

Id invest in some brembo blank rotors. I have had a set and had ALOT of trouble withe calipers locking on me causing issues. by now the rotors have about 75k and are warped, but they have held up quite well!

not to be dense, but you had drilled and slotted, and they did not work, but the brembo blanks have been way better than oem?

I always used the brembo blanks, I never had an issue with the rotors at all.

Drilled and slotted are a gimmick for a truck, your not going fast enough nor braking enough and getting the brakes hot enough for it to really be worth it. Now if you were racing a slalom course in say a sports type car-then its worth it imho.

But, I do have a 6 inch diameter tailpipe, that makes it fast right? I think the brembo blanks sound great! I will have them ordered up for the big timing belt change out.
