I really appreciate all the good information that is shared on this forum. I try and learn from each persons experiences.
If you need a scanner and want to buy yourself a present, check out AMAZON.COM OBDII SCANNERS for less than $30.00. The first one listed at about $22.00 is basic but works. I have used that one for 3 years and it will give you codes and allow you to erase them. If you have a laptop they sell a usb to obdII adapter with software. I have one of the ones you plug into a laptop. Our Sportages give some but not all the information but some is better than none.
