He knows his rig. We have 4wd fire trucks here and I used to drive the pumper, I will say I would not even consider our Ford chassis trucks able to be prepped for crossing deep water. But I can get back into areas to get a source of water to feed the other towns fancy hard surface only rigs.

I see that fire department knows nothing about swiftwater rescue. Shoot, even our volunteer depts here in Interior Alaska have the gear for all that.
