well I guess it would be a flexplate cause it is an auto tranny

How many miles do you have on it? There were some posts a while back in the T100 or Tundra forum about a cracked flexplate, generally above 200K miles. So apparently fatigue will kill it.

It has 178k on it and i am guessing that is what caused it to crack I just bought it for 800$ and was looking over it last night and looks like everything is still original plug wires cap and button so I am thinking that is what it is

Flexplat crackin is very hit or miss... Ive heard of 5-10 accounts of it happening... I think there may have just been a manufacturer defedt...
