yeah definately! Ive had this rig for about 6 months now. I dont really do to much extreme stuff. I usually ride with my cousin he has a jeep grand cherokee with that limited slip locker crap...haha it does the job. I live in ky around the Ft knox area. Looking for a lift not sure if I want to do 2" or 4". Most that I have read about were custom built. Im wrapping it with 265/70 Nitto Terra Grapplers this week.

Welcome to the 'Wire. As you know, the kind of trails you want to go on will determine the upgrades.

Some simply want to go 'Overlanding' which means mostly non-technical off road driving and will really only require a tire upgrade.

Others want to be able to rock crawl their rigs and go on any trail with possibly the exception of the x-rated trails like the Hammers in Johnson Valley and will require a body/suspension lift, bigger tires, armor, gearing and traction aid upgrades plus of course recovery gear (winch, hilift, etc.).

Others still want to be able to do the hammers and like trails and are looking at a rock buggy build and are looking at mod's beyond a crawling rig.

Myself, I want to do the first two and have no real interest in building a buggy crawler.

Where do you fall? Also, any pics of your sport? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

good point. hmmm....well not really into rock crawling more the mentality of "theres a trail ive never been down lets go!" wouldnt mind adding a winch, which i know would include upgrading the front bumper. looking to add a roof rack, maybe 2-4" lift, adding 265/70 nitto terra grapplers A/T this week, its a larger tire with fantastic tread, without a lift thats all i can fit up in there. Finding all the stuff is the problem....

I'd bolt the winch onto a section of 1/2" steel plate that's mounted between the frame rails so that you can still use your stock bumper if you want.

Not sure about the sport... what sized rims are you using?

A body lift is available from 4crawler.com but you may need to count the number of body mounts first. Other sport owners on here may have already done the lift so you can check with them on that if you're not sure.

A previous sport owner DC imported a front IFS lift kit built for a Mitsu Triton or was it an L200 pickup from Thailand and modified it to work with his Sport. Afterwards he was able to fit 35's. CAP510 (aka Carlos) currently owns that sport.

There's also Edward who owns a front SAS'd sport with plenty more mods (www.4x4extremesports.com/ifs-conversion-1.php)
