Getting the Wheeling Fever
Does anyone know if the air lifts that have the bags that go into the coil springs actually lift the truck or if they just reduce sagging with heavy loads?

I am not 100% sure but I think it just reduces the sagging and ups the load limit. I might be wrong tho.

You can get an inch or so going to Gen 2 coils, I believe, if you have a Gen 1.

Third times a charm.

I put them in my gen 1 like 6 yrs ago. They just recently split died... Gonna get some replacements. mine came with some rubber pucks approx 1 1/2 inch thick. I think this was for another application. but in my truck even with the front cranked I could easlier raise the rear 3 inches or more. So with the pucks yes they will raise it. I think you need to get the pucks separetly.

If I can gain 2-3 inches by installing them. Their only like 100 bucks. hmm....worth a shot i guess.

Torsion bar crank will get you ~2" which also means a slightly stiffer front suspension and less articulation than when left stock. That said its a VERY effective way to do a front end suspension lift. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
