Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
I'm attempting a HG replacement on my 89 22re. Read a bunch of threads and following the fsm procedure, so far so good.
I am stuck on disconnecting the cold start injector. The electrical connector is all caked in crud and attempts to unplug it have resulted in some breakage, so I thought I better ask someone before it gets destroyed.
So the question is...how does the connector disconnect? Are there tabs to push in or something? There appear to be some metal pieces at the bottom but for the life of me I can't figure out how to disconnect it.
Can anyone help?

I eventually figured it out, broke off a bit of plastic in the process though. Nothing major. The steel 'clips' needed to be persuaded to release with some help from a flat screwdriver.
