I do not know the answer to this question, but if you title your post more appropriately, you will likely get a better response.

Rule #3 Title your Post Appropriately. If you have a specific question, put the specifics in your title. A good example would be: Gen 2 3.5 ltr Crank bolt problems,OR My Gen1 is smoking after start up. A poor example would be Help me please my truck Suxor!! OR "Transmission"

Not sure on that either Edwin. One thing you may want to try if nobody knows the answer is to check the part numbers against each other.

You can download the Mitsubishi ASA Parts program to get the part number using a VIN. You can find VIN's for most model years in the FAQ thread.

HTH.

tell us more about your Sport,,,write it in your signature or profile at your My Home.
Is your 3.0 or 3.5? A.T., I imagine as thats all Sports got in N.Amer. after '97. How about your diff, some got hybrid LSD. Your diff. ratio is on metal tag on your firewall. Some got 4.63 and the lucky ones got 4.90. Some have drums brakes in rear, some disc.

Yeah I was gonna wait till I got some more mods on it but I can give a brief run down. 01 sport (not sure which model) its the 3.0. I havent dug very deep into this truck yet to find out all the specs. I did just add 265/70/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers yesterday...and I love them. I think im gonna get those springs from KrzyDav to add 2" and torque the torsion bars a bit. I talked to my mechanic last night and he said it shouldnt be too bad to do. (I do most of the work until it gets to crazy special stuff) I will update my sig. after I crawl up under it...

Actually I just automatically assumed you have a full sized Montero not the sport. DEFINITELY add the model to your signature and include it at the bottom of your initial post. That way people know what vehicle you're asking about. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
