Body Damage is Cool
What is the moabzu like these days? I don't think I have been able to attend since zuzoo8 which was when it was a fairly large event. I have heard that its much smaller and informal now.
I picked up a '90 amigo to add to the fleet this winter and may try and make it this year to catch up with some of the old isuzu guys.

1987 trooper LS.'94 3.2, SAS,35's , lots of dents and rust. Now, improved, with more dents.
1995 trooper LS. Wife won't let me improve this one.
1996 trooper. I'll need something to modify when the '87 finally rusts away.

It is definitely informal now, in part out of necessity, as insurance costs became prohibitive for an organized event. Nowdays it is just friends getting together; trail runs are discussed over a few beverages the evening before, usually at the Red Rock.

Hard to say how many vehicles lately...maybe 40 last year? Probably half the vehicles are VXs these days.

We will be arriving Sunday. The big fun run is on Tuesday, most try to be there by then.

Circumstances have allowed us to move up our arrival date to Saturday the 12th. Sweet!

Saw a few pics. I miss Zu Zoo, it's been too long since I made it. On the plus side I've really been jonesing for wheeling recently and I'm trying to make time for it again. Been working on the Amigo the last few weeks and should have it going again pretty soon. I just realized it's been sitting for nearly 4 years now. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

Not too many of the "old" timers this year - Linda Adams, Craig Ethridge, Steve Carlson, and myself. It was mostly VXs. One first gen Trooper, a few second gen Troopers, and not a single Amigo. Most days I wheeled with Linda and Craig. Craig drives an FJ Cruiser now. Linda was driving her YJ and I now drive a built YJ. Really missed a lot of the old timers. We did call Randii from the top of Metal Masher just to let him know we were there.
