Need a Spot
Just wanted to give a big thanks for all the information provided by everybody on this forum. I have been lurkin about for a while now and have not provided any feedback but greatly appreciate the abundant information here as the search button has been quite the headache saver for me on more than one occasion.
I purchased a 1988 Dodge Raider 2.6 5 speed and will post pictures later when I can.
I look forward every morning, noon, and night to peer through this forum to admire the amount of knowledge shared by all the users, hopefully in the near future I can do the same and contribute.
Again many thanks 4x4 Wire

Body Damage is Cool
I did the lurking thing for a few months before I did my first post. Now a couple years later, replacing the 2.6 with a 3.5, contemplating a Toyota front axle assembly, all from learning from the other guys on here. Post pics, we'll cheer you onwith your mods.

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing those pics and hearing questions, or getting updates on what you're doing to your Montero.

I see you're in California. What area? I'm just outside of the SF Bay in the Manteca area. Maybe you can make it to a future local off road trip.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Welcome... I'm recently returning after a six year hiatus. I found a clean 1990 and traded my Subaru, that was 8 years newer with 60,000 less miles, for it. Now you know how crazy these things will make you.

Third times a charm.

I'm fairly new here too (6 months) and the folks here have been VERY helpful and supportive. When I did my clutch last month the tips I picked up here made the job SO much easier.

Welcome, from another 2.6er
