I dug up some videos tonight from a couple of our offroad adventures in the North Georgia Mountains. I have a few more that need some editing but I'll get them up when I have a chance. I pick up my Montero Diesel tomorrow morning to bring it home to finish the exhaust and a few suspension maintenance items. I can't wait to get it back on the road so we can shoot some more footage like this! Montero Offroad Video 1 Montero Offroad Video 2

VOLUME WARNING!!! (EDIT: FIRST VIDEO ONLY)
I had my earphones up with my music down a bit, and its been a few minutes and my ears still hurt quite literally. The audio track is totally messed up. I suggest using youtube to add free music to them or something.
That being said, the videos are cool, thanks for posting them!

Hiya, Powell.
You left out the best scene in the first video, the one where I was hanging off the side of the yellow Shogun trying with my skinny butt to keep it off it's side.
SRTNate owns her now, and has grafted a 3.5 into it. Almost finished I think...

MarkG, fasteddy, sparkem, and DavidG, with Pmontero taking the pics. Powell was about 2" from going on his side, and couldn't take the best pic of the trip. There's a still of it somewhere...
I'm ready to go - need to get into the woods before the trees leaf out good, and the native azalea will be blooming soon on the road to Rabun Bald (second highest peak in GA, you can walk to the top in 20min to the lookout on the old fire tower stone base...
I propose the scenic trip. Sarah's creek, then up to the top of the ridge by the bartram trail, then down t-something creek road back to warwoman road, then over patterson gap to the tallulah river crossing to charlies creek and blue ridge gap? Ball creek road is still closed, I think, so the walk to Cherokee cave is out. I'll check with the Wayah rnager station on ball creek road open date...

That sounds like fun! Let's get this planned. I can't next weekend due to an ExPo camping trip but any weekend after works for me.

At currently 431,000 miles I bet my 88 can still do the trip. Lets see if my wife and daughter want to go too, I don't have to ask my son he is my co-pilot. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
