Common sense tells me no way but my 1 week old 89 Raider V6 is missing the pass side cover. The PO tells me he has been running without for some time. I did post in the WTB so if anyone has a spare please contact me.
Thanks Morgan

It will not hurt it to bad. it is really a big dust cover, but I would drive it into any big mud holes. I will check and see if I have a spare one.

Hard core 3000GT people run without the covers. Not sure how much DD-type use they see though...

I drove the first car ever to use a rubber timing belt (dohc Fiat Spider) for 150k without the cover on. Not much off road use, except when I got a little wide in the corners...

The yards around St Louis seem to be depleted...let me know if you find a spare. Have been doing a lot of reading here and really like the site. This is my 1st Mitsu and really like it so far. Better than the hords of Jeeps out there. Nice compliment to my FJ80 which has been a great truck that I can't let go of. Just needed something dif and found a 2 owner 89 with 93XXX original miles and jumped. Here I am...

I used car-parts.com to find the lower one I needed awhile back. They do show a bunch around the US for cheap. Give them a shot.
