Getting the Wheeling Fever
Having a stuck rear diff locker and going through service shops with little to no knowledge about these car and being rejected by Toyota and Jeep 4x4 dbag service shops. I am planing to take our the rear diff myself, per previous conversations here and service shop descriptions below are the steps to be taken:
1, Pull out the axle shafts 3"s on both sides.
2, unbolt the drive shaft, while marking the exact relation to the rear diff flange thing (excuse my lack of knowledge).
3, unbolt the rear diff, while leaving one bolt loosened on the top, hitch the diff with a log or something to loosen it, carefully take it down.

Is this all the steps to be taken? AND the only thing I have almost no knowledge is the steps to pull out the drive shafts 3"s.
Thank you all for your support <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

If you have any reservations about attempting this there are some shops youcan check with to find the right one...Im not from denver but based on their podcast, id enquire with a shop thats part of the Colorado select napa auto association of shops which of their shops would be the best one...(coloradoselect.org)
