Getting the Wheeling Fever

Hey guys, haven't posted in awhile, I've been driving a Subaru since my Monty has been on the shelf <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> My truck has a warped rod bearing in the bottom end and I haven't been able to find a g54b anywhere.(If someone has one for sale please let me know and disregard this post.) The truck has been sitting in front of my moms house in Jackosn, CA, about 45 mins east of sacramento. It has been sitting since winter '11, reg expired in March '11, and I have to get it out of there. A scrapper has offered me 300$ to come tow it but I wanted to let you fellas know before I accepted. I hate to see it scrapped and hope one of you guys want it for 300$, it has nice 31X10.5" all terrains, a rebuilt tranny that i bought from russell that is strong and the 1984 SWB has the bouncy seat and LSD. The truck has low miles and only one owner before me and is in overall good condition, even the headlight washers work. The only blemish is the 1984 model had the slick 2 piece bumper (which i should have gave to Russell when he asked!!) and the driver side piece is missing along with the tailight and a small patch of twisted metal below the tailight which was due to a snowbank. I have the tailight just havent fabbed it in. I have attached a pic: This is my monty, those are the tires, please let me know if you would like to come tow it. It's a sad day..

You mean the bumper. I live in tahoe and don't have a trailer or truck to tow it, towing it to your place would cost a fortune! What would have to be done to the short block before it is ready to be installed?

After a 284 mile round trip plus tow dolly rental I did not purchase this truck. So no baby GrassCat or Grasscub or G'cubby or any other name.
The motor problem didn't bother me, but the damage to the rear quarter panel did and would require bodywork and be done by someone with a lot more bodywork talent than me, so I passed.
Before someone asks, I never got out of my truck to look at the inside or any other details. Drove up, saw the damage to the rear and turn around and left.
To be fair to Matt. Someone else would love to have it and the damage would not bother them.
