No wide band yet, was kinda hoping running na i could get a decent safe tune with out one, like you said like a carb, people jetted carbs for decades with out wide band. But yes it would make life easier but this swap has pushed my budget all ready.

As far as base maps what I meant was the warm up settings from someone just so i could get it to the point where it runs and idles then i could go tune from there but right now it is just all guessing with out a remote baseline.

Just picked up a injector resistor today so i am going to wire that in hoping that will make it esier to get a starquest map.

Just a update, i have it running and it runs pretty decent so it is totally possible to build a couple of adapter harness's and some relays, small fuse box and a electric fuel pump and have a fuel injected 2.6.

The wiring schematic from the first page has changed dramatically so i will post a updated one if anyone is interested.

only thing is my TPS is dead so as much as it runs still cant drive it, dies under acceleration.

I am running megasquirt 2 in my 88 montero the only thing different is that i have a 2.4 with multiport injection. How did you set up your warm up enrichment, cause i am having a problem with this and also to tune it. I got it to run better using a wideband so i think that is the best way you should try to tune yours. I run fuel and timing in mines, did you make the tables yourself, i need a base map to start over.

man am i wishing i did a 2.4 with the stock efi at this point of my swap grrrrr i am at such a frustrating part.

Basically after tonight i think i am going to buy a wideband out of frustration.

I got some tunes from the starion guys but they drive but need lots of work. So it got me running but just, LOL

I have finally got my warm up going ok but i think itll be way different then yous, once I get them more dialed i can let you know the settings.

Thanks bro i am tuning tomorrow morning i gave up using the wideband its easier and cheaper to have someone else tune it i will try to learn the most i can so i can share with you some pointers

It went great my timming was off by 10 degrees lower to mid of the map and 14 on top end off map, They got her running perfect just have a problem when i put it in drive since mines an automatic, the rpm would drop to much and start to shack alot and shut off. I tried to post the maps but i dont know how to post a pic here.
