I just noticed a small split on the bottom gasket on my rad cap. The only replacement cap I found is rated at 13 PSI which seems to be spec for a 1992 Montero. The manual for my 91 diesel pajero says the rad cap spec is 9 PSI which is what is marked on the original cap. Will moving to 13 psi harm the engine? From what I can read this will raise the coolant temp around 10 to 12 degrees F. Never had an issue with overheating even when towing my 2400 lb trailer.
