Recently purchased the 97 Montero SR from my good friend Sergey, He is the one with the G-wagen.
It's fully loaded with rear locker, cold weather package and lots of "goodies" ...look in my signature below.

'89 Raider V6, AT, SAS'ed, Dana 44 front & rear, 5:38 gears, NP 231 T-case.
'97 Montero SR, cold weather package, 4.90 R&P, BATTLEZ suspension w/ 2" lift, JAOS grill guard & under body protection, custom rock sliders.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Awesome! I love looking at action shots. Where you are wheeling looks very similar to a place out here called the Rio Puerco. I have impressed more than a few people out there with my 97 LS. "Oh look, someone brought out their station wagon on steriods," is their initial thought, then it's like "Wow! And to think I wanted to buy a Jeep". How do you like the locker in the rear of your SR? Ive sourcedand pretty much installed everything for my swap with the exceptin of the rear axle and front gears.
