I have a friend who has a Montero Sport. The turn signals are permanently flashing for a right turn; both front and rear. The lever feels normal, however, moving it from left to center to right, there is no change,........it just continues flashing to the right all the time.
Any suggestion what might be going on?

Short in the wires to that light, or short in the switch, or in the emergency flasher switch, or a bad flasher module under the dash.
