Somehow my waste-gate linkage popped off Saturday night leaving the waste-gate fully open.

No boost going across intersections, About 3 to 4 psi by the time I hit the other side. About 8 psi at full throttle. Normally I run at about 14 PSI full throttle.

Wow... What a dog. I had forgotten how much of a difference the turbo makes. I'm sure with the waste gate open the compressor is a restriction at low speeds, but even with 3 psi of boost it was a dog. Drivable, but not nearly as much fun.

Glad getting that this was an easy fix.
BTW, it was very drivable, smooth OK acceleration just no kick of the turbo spooling. Looks like you can run on of these with really low boost.

I only went a few blocks, but it seemed OK.

I know how you feel... my Sky Turbo is a little rocket... I hopped in the montero the other day and almost smacked my face off the steering wheel when I expected to go into the seat from a traffic light! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
