Getting the Wheeling Fever
I drove my raider 4 days ago turned it off and tried to leave and all I was getting was a click in the front right side, and I was told it would be the starter not working since I could still drop the clutch. I replaced the starter, battery is showing 12v seems fine but still getting the same click. help please

Have you tried jump starting it? If it jump starts ok, then its probably the battery. If not, then its probably the cables. Could also be the solenoid not getting enough juice. Have you tried hotwiring the solenoid?

Ok im lost again did that and still nothing. Could it be a fuse or relay. tested the battery and its good. Where are the relays and such in a raider? Thank you for the help.

You replaced the terminals but was the wire in good condition? Too much green copper oxidation is a bad thing. If you can see it between the strands, it may be time to replace it.

My wires were in good condition no corrosion anywhere but the terminal was old so I went ahead and replaced it. I saw online that they sell starter relays at advanced but not to sure about where that goes or if there is any possibility thats what it is but im kind of curious.

Even if the wires look good, if they are old it wouldn't be a bad idea to change them. Same thing happened with my 90' montero when I got it. Replaced the wires and now it's fine. Plus it doesn't cost that much anyway.
