All the exhaust behind the catalytic converter is toast and needs to be replaced. I would like to give it a little sound without sounding like a bumble bee. I was wondering what exhaust you guys are running and how do you like it?

I had a glass pack installed in my Gen1 SWB. I like it. On the SWB, the muffler is at such an angle that it collects condensation and rusts out - never heard of a glass pack rusting out.

On my Gen2 SWB, I have headers and a 2.25" tuned exhaust. It's too noisy to cruise above 3300RPM (about 65MPH). The increase in performance and efficiency is nearly nil - not worth the money unless the rest of it is gone - lots of cracked manifolds here in Australia.

I believe the mufflers can be upgraded using off the shelf options from various aftermarket muffler companies like Magnaflow, etc.

The rest would probably have to be custom made.

For my needs, I really haven't found an issue with the OE setup. Although I know many wish for more power, I'm quite happy with the power of my SR engine. About the only thing I would want to upgrade is to make the fitment closer to the underbody so I can minimize clearance issues.

The main thing I'm concerned about is sound. I would like a low rumble but not very loud. Just wondering what you guys are running and how you like the sound.
