How much additional power over a stock Starion setup will your new engine may? The turbo to intake manifold pipe is huge compared to the setup on my pick up.
Not really sure how it will perform.
mods:
Have Moded to flow air canister (doesnt fit well under the hood may mod it more)
K&N filter only marginal gains IMO
Intake pipe is 3in with moded to 3in at the inlet of the turbo for a like velocity stack effect for the inlet, probly not alot of gain but looks more cool! Could help spool up and efficency slightly.
Turbo inlet and outlet are ported.
OVCP is 2.5in probly twice the airflow of stock one with 1g DSM BOV (crushed should hold 15psi or so)
Ported TB the Bar is very large and actualy should have a somewhat decent amount of airflow incress (guess 10%)
1.5 in or so TB Spacer (used a second TB with no Valve) Should improve low end and mid range
Intake has a 60% incressed Plentum area, used before with large mid range power gains (by seat of the pants)
very mild port job with M28 non jet head no real gains exspected from that.
Exhaust manifold had a good deal of porting to the outlet to the turbo helps spool time and higher rpms
Exhaust housing is ported alot, actualy more then I have used before so not sure but larger outlet, larger WG, and should have incressed flow to the turbine.
The downpipe is 2.5in..... with O2 blocked off and have a 3wire down in the stock location on the v6
After the downpipe will be my real problem with making high power! Plan to use stock exhaust from the v6 I think slightly better then the conquest exhaust but not much.
Engine has BS removed (mostly just so I dont worry about them, but it ran smoothly before so not worried about that.
Also Have HD Valve springs. With Magna Rollers on exhaust side.
So overall I just want improved low end, faster spool, and as much power as the 88-89 without using a IC With better response, without it dropping off so fast smoother power band not so peaky.
